Alrighty dudes, I have been rolling around a little mini-game / tug of war kind of game in my head, wanted to throw it up onto here, see what oyu dudes think.

So, the overall idea was that you as the player are a scientist, and you are trying to create the strongest Roach that you can.

I was thinking it would be a round based style, and it would pit you and the other player(s) against eachother.

So there would be a break period, to "create", then a fight period where the roaches would auto attack eachother.

I was thinking that you would have them in laid out on the table, so to speak, and you can edit them individually.

Each Roach would have damage, attack speed, health, regen, move speed, attack range, sight range, splash, melee, etc, etc, etc...

MANY stats.

Each one would be on a slider, and others would go down.

So, say you had 10 "points" per roach.
Each stat would take 1 point, and add in a certain way.

1 point in health would add X
1 point in speed would add Y

etc...

They could be moved and swapped, to make different combinations.

That is roughly all I have in my head, anyone got any thoughts on something like this?

With the complexity of the editor, some really cool things could be changed per roach, adding a spine crawler to them, letting them burrow, or anything else that is a little out there.

Just some thoughts, I will start working more on something like it when the blizz contest is over.

Discuss,

Well you could have special abilities as well as stats and make it so each round the players get more points, resulting in more and more crazy roaches. Sounds like a fun and simple map that everyone can enjoy.
