Chaosphere Spell question

Hi, I tried to contact the creator of the spell, but I coulnd find him online, so I was wandering if anyone could help me. Its a trigger spell, and it has 1 lvl only. I need to make it a 3 lvl spell, and change the chance of the effects ( if you know the spell, you know what I mean) to arithimetic ( something plus level of ability of unit)
The point is, I need to set the unit to be the caster of the spell, but I'm new at triggering, and I have no idea how. Please help me, and thanks anyways =)

Firstly is the spell in GUI or vJASS/JASS/Whatever (>_<)
If it is in GUI I can help you, if not, I'll try my best
