Cataputs changing target when allied unit nearby

I was messing around with a catapult unit (orc balista) and i noticed that when a catapult acquire a target and attacks it, if there is an allied unit nearby the target and it gets damaged by the catapult, it changes target, and target any unit in range that is not in sufficient range for that allied unit to be damaged again by its attacks. I dont want this to happen because im converting damage dealt by this type of unit into heal, so i want the catapult to not change targets. is there a config where i can change this behavior?
