[General] Building Casts Spell

I have 4 buildings that all have a dummy "Slam" ability.
I thought that I could just pick them up each second and make them cast slam. However this doesn't work.

Any idea why not?
Any idea how to make buildings cast spells?

Are you sure that the ability is Unit Ability ?
If pick unit group does not work with Buildings, try change the Buildings to a Normal Unit, but act as Building.

Because, Building is basically a Normal Unit which will respond to Pick Unit Group action.

Perhaps there is something wrong with your ability itself ?

@defskull - positive. Its a "Slam" ability that does nothing, its just there to act as a pointer when a unit casts it, other spells like Mass Firebolt happens. There is no point in my map if I change all buildings to units. Then they cannot be "built"

There is nothing wrong with the ability itself. It requires no target, takes no target and has all stats set to either 0.01 or 0. It deals no damage, has no aoe, no casting range, no mana cost. The only thing different about the slam's are their cooldown and description.

The triggers are dead simple. Every 1 second, pick units that are structure and alive, make them cast "Neutral - Slam". That's it. But it doesn't work

@LordDz - your answer basically answers nothing
