Looks more like a seal. Yellow pages that will trap dem ghosts!

Oh very sorry. I misunderstood the word 'amulet'. I thought it was some kind of protection in any form. >< .. Thank you for your advice.

It looks good imo, just needs more/better effects.

Well, there is a problem around material and colors. You used only yellow color and it's light grades, but natural shadows are mostly different color and dependend by ambience and environment.
The other moment with this icon - i guess its linear perspective that shows a object from frontal horizontal looking at. Try move a looking angle bellow the horizon and show us a pattern from lowside to upside. I mean something like this:

I'm not very sure what kind of colours need to be used for shading. YouTube taught me that using black colour with only 50% opacity for shading.
I'll try to move the angle. I still not very good in using Photoshop to move the overall angle of the item.
