Pyramidhe@d: defined the shape a bit more. really show off that surve of the blade. also add some tone/shading to the handle/shaft to represent the curved 3D

Ok, well make the background a lighter shade of purple (Like white and purple mixed but lighter) and then the background wont blend with the weapon.

Jokes aside, it's rather hard to see what it is, and you definetly don't strike totally vercital, but in an arc.
