Sin'dorei300: It's blurry, grainy and undefined, the glow looks too solid & too dark.
Also, u could change the weapon's position.

Why is the glow only on the bottom of the axe?
Centre the axe and put the glow around it.

Is the axe being upside down in the first image on purpose?

Anyway, on icons like these it often works better to put the weapon in a diagonal position, completely horizontal or vertical usually looks boring and unnatural.
