Kimbo: Not too bad, but it needs more shading. I also think there is way too much contrast (harsh blacks etc).
Maybe you can rework the shading? and take reference from some warcraft/icon artwork?

I like it. But it looks like an axe used for war than a farmer's lumber-chopper-3000-machine.
I think if you removed the red glow and maybe replace it with a yellow or blue glow it would look better. It's useful for a weapon of an orc or something.
(I'm not too good with icons, so I don't easily detect every flaw)

This looks good though I dont like the dark spots in the icons and also if we are to look on the DISBTN and DISATC, the icon is quite blurry maybe (can't find the exact word but its appearance does not look that smooth).

The axe's edge also in the top part looks weird also.
