    Try to make your outlines less sharp, use small, 1-3px black lines with small transparency instead (something like 15% transp.).
    Next to that, i can only recommend to practice the use of shadings, to get yourself used to the proper placing and amount to create a three dimensional shape matching the actual object.
    You may take references (however, don't simply trace them, give them an own shape) for the shadings if you need help.

    Thanks for the reccomendations but im currently still using Simple paint program, i will get Gimp or Ps soon so please bear with me till then^^

    However, Photoshop usually costs money although i do personally prefer it.
    Gimp is for free, but some things are quite hard to achive with the use of that programm.

    Its a modified version of the head of the axe^^, i like to recicle WIPS because it takes less time to think about what i want, and sometimes WIPS are good to base other objects with... i think.

    I'd say its good for certain occasions. Imagine someone using both of your icons in a game. An axa and a shield that were the exact same thing.
