Hm...
Needs lots of improvement.
The blood is looking like "flying around".
If you created a different layer for it, you should lay it over the spear layer
and then click between them both by keeping pressed "Alt".
That will make the blood "fit" on the spear. You should also set
the layer setting to "multiply", so you can see the shading of the spear trough the blood.

Some General Tips:
- Make the spear bigger, so the details are more visibile.
- First work on 640x640 and scale it down later (Don't know if you did)
- Make high contrasts, like Blizzard does. Else you can't see the details.
- You can use an hard brush for shading. It doesn't matter on 640px²
- EVER do a background, except you don't want a background for a specific reason. It should represent the object in the icon. I think a slight red/orange background would fit here.

This tutorial can maybe help you a little. I would recomn you to read it.
