Sin'dorei300: As i said before, it needs proper shading/highlights, suitable textures (especially for that greenish thingy).
NFWar's "arsenal" contains certainly some remarkable pieces.
U could analyze them, also, u could learn something from his great tutorials.
If u tinker with it a bit, it might result in a good icon.

The only issues are the lack of better shading and that huge empty background. At least you could've played with the angle more. Anyways good luck with it.

Kamas should have metal handles for blocking, otherwise with a wooden handle, you would be left with a wooden stick the first time you try to block something. Anyway, apart from realism it looks definately cool. Maybe centering the kama or showing more of the handle would help fill the emptiness or you could try adding some simple background.

I don't really know how to explain it but there is something that this icon lacks atm. Its still a decent icon though.

It looks fantastic, but I'm not really liking the position of the weapon on the icon, because right now there is so much unused black space it could either use a nice simple background or re position the weapon.
