I think it looks great, pretty the same as some of your other sword icons. You could, maybe, define the real purpose with the sword. To me, it seems that you want to create a searing/flaming sword, but it looks more glowing with fire instead of flaming.
But that is up to you or what you want to create

In my opinion it looks very simple.
Simple Mesh of the sword and a basic background.
But it's useful anyway.
I suggest making the flames bigger.
All in all a simple, but very appealing Icon.
