Pyramidhe@d: Doesnt look like lightning. For one thing, lightning isnt blue. Blue hued, maybe. but not blue. Also your hands needs more work.

Light should be shiny, not a pale blue. Also, fingers should be differented in size.
The big fingah --> broken? Change perspective.

Warcraft uses more dynamic shading when representing a human hand, like in these icons:

Also, lightning lacks proper highlights, and more shadows and color variations wouldn't hurt, either. Lightning bolts tend to be more blueish, and more random, like in these Warcraft icons:

Also, a big part of icon is bland background. Make the hand glow a bit, energy waves bigger, and use sparks to fill background.

Light? Electric charge from hand could be shiny, not pale. U'r look's more like ice, dunno, or water. Not even a electric charge.

Again, anatomy of hand is realy broken, i hope your own hand's big finger is on the bottom part of the hand, not on the same line with other fingers.

Not better now, realy, try feel anatomy of the hand, and build it. lookin on your own hand. Else your fingers will be broken as here. Too big difference in lenght of two firsts, else two still on one line? The big one is again looks like monster.
