Some contrast would be nice, look at the face on the original one, there's a lot of green, but it's still pretty nice and it's quite obvious as to what this is supposed to be.

Make the elemental more brownish and use a darker green for the background.
Apart from that it looks good.

yeah I think ill do a little more work to it... I was thinking along the same lines. It's quite a busy icon

Well it's awesome but I'd have to have some pointers or else I wouldn't be a good reviewer, the green beside him, the leaves, doesn't really look that .. Leafy, maybe plain black or something else? More brownish than pinkish and a tad more contrast ey?
