It's certainly an orange claymore. If you are looking forward a red sword, you should go with orange only with highlights. Why I have a feeling that the claymore will break upon a very small impact? Maybe because it has way to thin 'neck'. The handle should be little fatter as well. You should consider of redrawing the line that splits the blade of the claymore; it splits it in two different shapes. The gem of the claymore should stand out a little more, as it can easily be made in a way that will attract sight to it first. I like the concept, but this should really get some more of hard work. Nice idea to make it stand out a little out from other sword icons by using simple colors.

Won't be accepted by the Originality rule IMO.
Anyway, the thin bit of the claymore is stupid. If A sword hits the handguard, and then twists/moves a tiny bit, it would cut the whole blade. Just by moving it would probably break. You shouldn't get rid of something on the blade, but maybe add something.

If it's a sword with a red-colored metal,then try fixing the blade...
try making it more realistic with metal textures and some shading

Wrong shading makes it plastic. Nice update, thought.
Maybe make it more 'metallic' ? like not so 'red', looks more lika a toy sword now

You managed to get off the toy impression, but you lost the borders and darkest shadows during it. Just a touch of shadows, and it will be even better.

Why not look at a real sword first?

Add stronger shading on the edges in the places where light goes off. But atm its looks realy better but not enough good anyway.
