Maybe the orange lining is not so good idea. It worked in the orange gauntlet but in this one you should use come other color (maybe lighter shades of gray to move the focus to the fingers. Also if you could make something wavy background like the orange one, this one will also glow.

Actually I like the orange outlining, it kinda gives it that brass-bronzish steampunkish style. Everything is as it should be in this icon, a pure 5/5
Btw, the design kinda looks like a mix between the steel and the the steel plate gauntlets from Skyrim
