I think that applying a brush with black (or a darker brown, depending on your taste) at 7~10% opacity for shadows would do a good job at managing to give the scene a more realistic feel.

Yeah i was gonna add some texture too it, but it seemed good too me at that moment.

As one of your older icons, your skill has much since improved. However, for the sake of reviewing, it does not resemble books very well. It is too easily mistaken for lumber or mud bricks. The main complaint I have is that the coloring is too monotonous. It could easily get another star with just a little bit of color variation.

It's not a positive contribution to the world at all. This is not constructive criticism. This just leaves the author sad. If it had been constructive, they might have been sad but with reason. Here you are just stepping on someone and adding zero value. It's technically not against the rules, but if it becomes a regular thing I will take action regardless.
