oh_snap: You can't really tell what's going on. The background melds with the object I presume to be an arrow. You need to make everything more distinct.

The lance could be better, especially the head. It needs to look longer, and much sharper.

The blood doesn't look right. Maybe make the lance end bigger and change the blood from there to be thicker.

The whole icon needs more definition, and I think you should add better shape to arrow and the target.

the armour is that knight grey ...maybe need to changue the name of the icon to " impale "

Show the armor a bit more and make the "arrow" or whatever the object hitting the armor is more vibrant and a more textured feel to it.
