Pyramidhe@d: the way you done the variation of light/dark on the glow makes it looks like an eyesocket which is bad for this since this is a ripped out eye
and dont make the eye cord all red. its quite boring but also it blends a bit with the bg. i suggest making it more flesh pink while putting some thin white lines to represent never lines

Wow nice looking 3D eye. And the red parts, well I can just as easily imagine them as blood. So me thinks its good.

...do this- Make the eyeball darker; more bloody veins on the whites; the red parts give it more shading at the back; and rename the icon BTNEyeOfDoomDedicatedToWraithling!

i would suggest making the eye cord coming from the back of the eye. thats where most of them come from.
maybe an easier fix would be making the pupil on the far right side of the eye
