Pyramidhe@d: Rather blurry. The soft shading makes it looke like a yellow plastic. The background doesnt suit it at all.

the lamp looks good, really nice but i dont like the BG, to me it looks strange with yellow :/ maybe try a bit less glow on the BG

The glow is quite weird. Pick a soft brush and paint on a layer below around the object instead of just a circular glow. And it doesn't need to be so strong. But the lamp itself is nice, good job!

As other users said, make the smoke and background different. A red one isn't so fitting in the theme, as I seem to remember that Genies and Djiins always had a concept color of light/dark blue. Also, try to perform a better array of shadings. One more thing: Instead of just a half-profile of the lamp, you should go with a curved look on the lamp or at least, another perspective.

Chilla_Killa, I sure like your work but if you would ad this picture to the backround and still kepp the lamp I think the Icon could be realy cool;P
