It's a bit bland and looks a lil' flat. Better shading would be good. Good idea overall.

I would love to have seen a bit more contrast on these books.
They are quite nice and does the job as books fine, but they feel a bit dusty.
Especially the rim could have used more contrast since it fades a bit with the book itself.

Overall decent icons without too much hokum.

Well i suggest use color for "I" and make it stand a bit.

The dullness was intentional as a dusty old tomes/generic library but might make some fancier looking books later if I find the time. I did edge the letters with an outer highlight but I forgot too compensate for the compression.

Nothing wrong with the icon but, u know suggestion If u want to make another book icon diff from this one then u can apply other's suggestion.
