Kimbo: Hi there, do you have a larger/pre-icon version you can show me? As this looks rather ambiguous atm and I need to find the source of the image on whether it was hand made by you/or with permission etc. thanks

The gray used actually buffs up the reality, try looking at the sun.
However, Warcraft tends to replace the shade of glowing objects (the ones that cast the light around them, and are light themselves) with white, so UgoUgo's right about that.
