enjoy: They look more like glass than silver. You have done a really good job on these, but not very warcraftish, and I don't think I have ever seen someone draw a boots icon from this angle.
I would suggest changing the angle to side view.

Can you please upload a big image in the thread below, as proof that you made this?

enjoy: The small one looks more like a photo of glass boots. This really does not fit with the warcraft style. I only approve this, because 15 people have downloaded it so far, and some users seem to like it.

This is great for your first icon. Its style (except for the brightness) fits into Warcraft pretty well, and it's got a good amount of detail.

You just need to lower the brightness a little bit, this is way too bright. Yes, I know that in real life iron at the right angle with the right light can look that bright, but it doesn't look as good as an icon that way.

3/5 for now, but if you darken it I'll raise to a 4/5. Again, great job on your first icon.

buy yer as TLI says - darken it abit, you might also think about where the light is comming from, it may send a shadow from the first boot to the one behind (left). i'm just guessing cause i can't reallt figure out a lightsource from this.

I am come with criticism not according on ur own style and how you do draw your icons, but according on a whole hive icons. So, there is few moments.
In warcraft is used different style of boot appearance, so, this is hardly recognizable as a boot pair, mostly in case of brightess - this is few silver bricks, not boots.
