Wow, it looks pretty... although i've always meant, that the 'impale' ability've had some flaws in it's explanation... And this icon helps me focus on the absurdity... or however you say absurdness, without saying ~ness at the end.

I believe i never said this in the Contest, but i really like this icon. The only problem is that i think it would be more fitting as a passive icon, could you add a passive version as well?

i to be honest dislike this icon (im no pro cant draw forn shit)
1. The appearance of crypt lord limits it to only one hero
2. the imapling spikes look like terrain
3. The cryptlord isnot oing an animation (castiung)
4. Spikes are too far apatr

but im no [pro and im going into the practicals. This is a ncie drawing and if it was on apalette and not for a spell i would like it

Well, i can see, yes, it is limited... bur about most of the other things, if a player sits with the icon, and a crypt lord, and wonder's 'what's on that pic?' he'll use impale, and notice the spikes, coming up from underneath thinking; 'hey, it's actually realistic!' ... or so i believe.

Yes the passive looks awesome.

About the limits, that's no problem at all, seeing how it's made for a specific hero(The Crypt Lord) in the contest. Also, looking at other icons, made by blizzard, many of them have nothing to do with the hero or unit in question.

1 mroe teeny weeny detail the spikes look to spread out kinda like the breath of fire baility. The curve of the spieks give thaqt illusion and the spieks should be clser togetehr

well the actual impale ability unless the spikes are going out of there way to hit a unit (AoE) there are 3 spoikes clsoe togetehr going down a straight line
