enjoy: Same as the other one, except that the background makes the icon even more monotone. The jagged lines don't look that great either.

I think a simple background can not be named of "upgrade".
Try changing details in the shield.

I think this icon in not that good, or it's never good!!!
The last 2 made icons were much better than this

I quite like this. However, I think it should be the normal icon, because I think your non-upgrade version is too plain.
