I like this one. What do you think about an order icon, same shape like this one,
but pointing to the ground, as the arrows after a walk/attack order in-game ?

Hm, for me it looks too static to present itself as a walking order sign.

Well, it is supposed to represent a unit guarding a position without relying on "shield" symbolism, as that would not fit.

Anyway, Ardenian, made the icon you suggested.

I approve!!! This type of stuff is very needed. I went looking for a normal steel shield today in models and nothing was there. Sometimes I think we need more simple resources because they can be super useful. This whole set fills a need. It's great!

i think these could be approved for usefulness, but if you add that subtle white highlight that exists in all the blizzard command icons to all of your custom ones it'd blend in a ton more in-game and compel me to approve even moreso.
