I like this icon, it's good. In my opinion it would be better if you change the purple to another color (maybe yellow/golden?). Just a suggestion, nothing more.

The background blends too much with the wings, it throws the eyes off of the wings and onto the background. Make the background a little less vibrant and make the wings stand out by defining them.

Looks better but put more focus on the wings, the background still stands out a lot more, maybe zoom out a little and make the background a little less noticeable, but keep that color scheme.
