It's a little blurry at some parts. and i don't think the glow fits seeing as its the same color as the shoot effect. maybe give it more of a metallish feelings overall.
It's a good icon. just do what i've mentioned up above and it'll be superb!

It has obviously been edited and contains over 65% custom work, so I fail to see why it is rejected.
Also it appears to be a bit blurry because I warped it a little and tried to give it the effect of rotating.
And the glow could be changed, I agree. But if it's going to be rejected, then I don't see the use.
