Pyramidhe@d: None of this is free hand. The snow effect, the mountain bg and the elemental looks pretty much like a screenshot or a trace.

hmmm ... I like the idea how you'd use a snowy mountain panorama for creating this icon.
the elemental is looking good, too. but it looks like a screenshot imo.
hmm can't judge for it. looks ok.

reworked him a bit. you can the change in my first post.

in the picture, around the 'waist' area of the element it looks really bad, if you re-shade the inner part of the waist, it should look better. In the icon that area looks out of place.
