Well, now to be perfevtly honest, it does not look like fire. At all.
At this point I suppose you have already read some tutorials at : http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tutorials/ .
My point is, this does not look that it is on fire.
Please improve the icon, and you'll be fine.

Yeah... You should really check out some tutorials. At least some shading and lighting effects.
