EDIT-Zoomed out more so you can see the rune is a palm, not a smiley face. Also attempted to make it glow, without much success.

the runes on his forehead look more like scribbles :/

So people don't like the rune. Should I make it larger or something? I'm not going to get rid of it.

i suggest making it thicker and add a glow around it.
