I am guessing you've done this by yourself by Magmus skill "eruption" as reference, but maybe you could make it more by your own, right now they are very similar. Or even the same, apart from some additions you've done.

i really intend it to be look-a-like [the lava erupting] because it was been requested that i'm suppose to make ability icons from HoN. i've done some things that i added and thought you haven't seen them...

EDIT: Now, Hivers comments are gained. now updated. see what you can say to improve the icon.

Nice changes now! Looks much more realistic and alive.
The two "lines/stripes" of lava/fire on each side of the eruption could use some highlightning , i find the glow look a bit odd now, but that's up to you.

Add some more flying lava missiles coming out of the volcano, it would make it look more like an eruption.

if u look closely u can see little black creatures around the fire with the sparks as eyes ^^

really nice icon only thing i can comment is perhaps a more detailed ground, but that would just be as eyecandy
