Masterpiece. You created four coloured circles, applied inner shadow and outer glow (and inner glow?). Then you called it a day.

Uhm... I understand that you're new to this, but don't upload things like this. If you want to learn, ask people privately to look at it and give you advise.

Firstly, the only way you will ever make something worth looking at is to put more time and effort into it. This is the obstacle that every person faces. Once you achieve the patience to put more time and effort into something, you will rapidly gain skill and be able to make better things. Time and effort is the wall that stops most people from becoming artists. Mostly effort; people will sit there wasting time unable to make themselves do what they know they need to do.

Anyway, in order to actually make this useful: Instead of using glow effects on a plain circle, make selection circles and make gradients with a spherical shape within those selection circles. This will give you a start. Next, use the brush tool and add something to your circles to distinguish them. Experiment with different designs, make sure to use separate layers so that you can choose what you like best.

Once you get the hang of actually drawing things, you'll be able to pump out icons more easily.

As for this, it's simply not worth keeping, and I'm not going to rate it until you improve it. Good luck to your learning in the future.
