handle seems too fragile

Lol, I don't know about fragile, but like the handle's uniqueness and how it stands out in the icon. Choice of background colour is a bit meh though.

The background does not fit, the blade mixes up with it too much. I like the snake though, but the connection between the blade and the handle is weird looking... something missing.

change bg a bit and make the shading on blade less dark.

Skip gradient completly, a background doesn't have to be so special, just that it fits with sword.
Well i guess it's not that bad, but it's alittle pixelated like this example.
smooth it out with low opacity till it's not vissible anymore.
