Decent job. I would just suggest making the swords/daggers a little bit longer. Other then that I think its a pretty good icon. Coloring seems good. Also fix the face of the dude holding them, he/she kindof looks alittle wierd, just make it alittle more obviouse its a face. ( At first I thought it was a sheild XD )

I think you should make one of the swords a parrying sword and the other a normal one. (meaning one dagger size and the other normal size.)

Belive me, dude, between that art and CR's technique is big difference and CR's stuff its actauly better, there is easy exposition with bad bg, overhighlined and also without any creative realisation of idea.
