Should put in more detail,mainly giving it a more scaly appearance.Right now it doesn't really look like a dragon scale

The silk thread could use some sharpening, and you should clean up the pixels surrounding it. IMO, the dim blue glow serves no purpose other than blurring the silk.

Add some special effects or, maybe, just zoom in. Currently is too much empty space for an icon, and is hard to tell what exactly is on the icon.
