enjoy: This is not approvable. Please look at some tutorials. You need to make the drawing big and then downsize it, for proper quality.

Photoshop is a pretty good tool really. I suggest you maybe read some Photoshop tutorials, also as stated above check out some of the other icons most people favor matching blizzards icon style.

Apart from it being pixels.. it doesn't look to bad for a anime-style map..

make your icons first on 256x256 or bigger size (square) and then resize and sharpen it. You'll have better results

The image looks quite good, for Atari 2600 standards.
For Warcraft III, the style doesn't fit very well in comparision to other wc3 icons.

Well, I do see a fishdragon, sort of.

LOLOL, ok lets start here, it's not that useful, i can't even tell what it is! Second....It's ummm.......Weird.... I don't much like this icon.....2/5 but it's a start for your first icon...I recomend Gimp as a program....
