The little finger looks were freaky, even for a zombie.

Also the picture doesn't give you the "lively" feeling (by that I mean there is no movement/effects, not that it is dead ) like mud getting ripped up in the air or something movementish from the hand when it rises rising.

First of all, great and True name!
And yes I am new to icon-creation Just started practising drawing hands, this is my second attempt at a hand icon!
And yes, I won't stop drawing x) I'll probably get good enough one day

you need to fix that.
trying taking every advice you can find in this thread and improve this icon, even if it will be rejected. keep working on it, just for the sake of improvement.

I will try to get some work done on the icon tonight ^^
And ofc I won't stop working just because I get a rejection, a rejection just means you have to change your resource And by getting a rejection instead of an "barely approved" you may improve and get better at what you do

EDIT: Icon updated, added a hole and some better shadows/highlights
