I see here 3 plain colors and smudge strokes... You should add more colors, change background and make that thing glowing or something. It's just not good now. : /
You can make such icon in 5 minutes or even less.

I like the idea, but it has a white BG and it looks sorta more like a pompom than a virus.

I think the virus icon should look like this, so then straight away people can recognize it.

It's just some making 2 circles and then smudge it outwards.
Nothing special.
I made this once, too.

darkdeathknight xD Only very FEW bacterofags look like that, usually it's just a round capsid. Ofc ur icon doesn't look likewise any of known viruses either. Ampharos gave perfect example.

I'm saying if someone made an icon like that, people will definately know what it is, but you're right, thats not a common virus thingy.
