Eh... this is far too simple. Adding some color is a quite good idea. And I like the idea of a golden fiery amulet.

well they get approved because they are of approvable quality. time has got nothing to do with it.
now. like i said. too much orange. the shading is way too strong. it look like a black blob. tone it down a bit

Sooo, changed that bg. And reworked the shading/highlights.
Does it look good or is it still not enough.
If not I will rework it another and another time, untill it looks good.
