My first completely freehand icon, uses minimal dodge/burn but is not based on any other icon. I thought it came out decent, but as always I'm up for criticism as long as it helps me improve the icon.

I like this very much, but it's lacking the glowy effect it should have. The lighting is really dull.

It's better, but it still needs some really bright highlights at the highest point in the mana line.

Is that bright enough? I can go brighter but I'd be worried about too much loss of definition.

Very good job, it's actually the best icon I've seen yet as I've been scanning through all these. It deserves an approval. I have a question, since I'm quite new here, I've been trying to upload my icon. But the format has to be .bpl
How would I change the format? (Btw, I use GIMP). I check on this tomorrow.

But to answer your question, Fury, you'll need a little program called Warcraft 3 Viewer which can change the file-type of .bmp, .tga, and (I think) .jpg files to .blp files, and from there you can upload and import it.
