Looks too simple, i suggest making some sort of an effect on the claw marks, Maybe blood dripping.

Well, it looks much better now, cause it looks like it's fur now.

all i see are red stripes on a red background. The wounds arent looking like ones at all, they could be paintings on whatever thing they are. If its fur, you should change the color to something browner.
Add some dripping blood to make it clear that these are wounds.

You're right...I'm gonna make the fur darker and make some more contrast...

what about this idea:
make the fur more light, like a light brown. then it would looks good.
oh and make some skin with a little fur at the sides of the marks, so it would look fresh.
maybe it would be a cool effect. dunno.
you have to decide. :3

The words of the user is just as important as the moderators,
and we often look at the users responses, and either tell the person to do as the user says, or tell in the reveiw which of the thing the users says, that we agree with.

Now i can see the wounds. The fur and the wound borders are great, but you could ad a bit kind of teture to the wounds. The nearly plain color creates the effect that the blood is glowing.
