Had the same problem with my Brooch. You see these little pixels at the edges ? I guess you took a little picture for base, now it is difficult to make them vanish.
It is overall the right site of the bully, I would say.

I don't know whether it is only me, but it is the whole ball, it is not a .. perfect ball. Guess it is rather unimportant as the whole image looks quite good !

Do you use Button Manager ? Sometimes he fcks up the quality...

Is it only me or is it even worse now ? Ah not by hand, then it is clear, circles are pixeled, I never use them as you have to do a lot more to improve the icon later than drawing them freehand

This thing reminds me a bowling ball with horns rather than the bully. I feel that more shading is needed and that the eyes need more definition. That white thing in the middle of the eyes is probably what makes me think about a gleaming clear bowling ball

Like ur other icons of the same kind, this one is pixelated too.
I also use Gimp, and my drawings don't come out pixelated, unless i u se the sharpen tool in an exaggerated mode.
So, assuming that's work from scratch, it shouldn't be pixelated(imo), unless u over-sharpen it.
The icon is kinda dark, there's too much black.
Coz the ball is black, u can change the bg, to improve the atmosphere.
Shading/highlights also need work. Regarding this, u can see some sphere drawing tutorials.
The horns color could be another shade of yellow, a bit more vivid yellow, to break the monotony that dominates the icon. Those horns also need proper shading.
U can even do a bit zoom out.
Its feet and that glow are both reddish, it's confusing.
