Haha most of the original icons are made for a model in mind, but the alternatives can go ham at times, though it's usually possible to find some model to match, like in this case the blood elf version is sort of fitting for the female Blood mage model. There's probably a bunch of more models that fit from Ujimasa's work or Johnwar's. I also like to imagine some of these variations having some simple use like special unit/character in a campaign like Shandris for example.Every time I check one of these out & think "oh it's for some random custom model I'll never use, never mind"... you almost always prove me wrong, due to all your other variants (esp. Forsaken!). Gratzi.
