Looks kinda... Undefined. Abusing black color never ended to something good. Maybe it's the lack of reflective surfaces, color variations and defined shape, no?

The stone could be a slightly smaller with a little extra work on creating the glowing ambience around it. Perhaps up the contrast just a tiny bit.
