I hadn't done a freehand unit icon in a while, so I just bust out a quick icon of my favourite thief and barbarian, CONAN. Took me bout 20 minutes in gimp

Thanks for the nice comments guys... I'm real proud of the way this icon turned out for one big reason, it looks just like it is supposed to ingame. I kept it rather simple and because of that even when shrinked down to a group size icon it still keeps it's look and proportions.
Oh, and as far as I'm concerned Gene Simmons is a barbarian. He wore studded leather armor, slept with over 1000 women and was a singer in a band where axes really were axes. Pity his music sucked lol ;O

Well I made it with the human villager/attachment version in mind, but really it can be used as an alternate for most human units, even the marines.
