The icon is just too rather monotone, and could use a hell of lot work in there. Also, the Passive borders appear to have their blueish glow from the basic button format, too.

The icon looks great! I think you should create a Scorescreen icon as well, though.

Fix these blue edges. Let the icon a little clearer.

Ok, so:
1. Those blue outlines just bother me, and I see a lot of other people as well. Maybe you could change them to black.
2. IT is... too monotone. Maybe add some patterns and it'll be alright.
3. Raise the contrast. Believe me. It'll be better.
Bottom line: I would rate it 3/5. Remove the blue outlines that ruin it (IMO), and add contrast.
