The glow around the axe is very distracting, i wouldn't use the glow or maybe make it less noticeable. The wooden texture on the handle doesn't look like wood, it needs more curved lines creating a wooden texture. Here are some examples of axes too get some ideas from.

Lastly, the blade area were it is suppose to be sharp doesn't look sharp at all, in the photos given it shows a white/grey colors where the blades sharp area is, yours is all over black. Take away the black area and add some white/grey colors towards it, and possibly make the blade area not so square, make it have some curves.

Really nice update !! One thing I see is that it looks flat too me , around the wooden handle part, make it seem not so flat by adding shading towards the right side of that wooden part and on the other make it the lighter side, where the light is hitting it. Then ill think about approving this.

Yeah, as The Panda said, the handle needs more shading. I think more metallic looking would be good also (More contrast and a bit more white color for the overlay layer). Just my thought:

You're welcome! But the handle still looks smooth to me, it's not rounded looking. Look at this areas I specified:

In number 1, put black colors in the form of Overlay layer. In number 2, put a bit white color also in the form of Overlay layer. Then, it would be rounded looking like this:

Everything seems alright, just it still looks flat too me, check the examples i shown above, and look at the wooden handle part and go by that, and shade it too match how that is. You have to have correct lighting and shading in order to make it seem not so flat. This is an example.
