[General] Basic Q about if then else

After working on map for long time I have discovered to I dont know one basic thing about IF THEN ELSE, so here is Q:

In IF we put condition, THEN actions if conditions is true, and else is used for what, will actions in else happen in every chase, if conditions is try or not, or it will happens only when conditions is ffalse.

Else action will happen when the condition is false.

else means that when the conditions of If are not met, the else trigger runs
