Babylon the Dusk

A short story told through terraining, each a short episodic scene. Might become a future cinematic if not probably my greatest that I have planned, if I'll ever get to make it!
The idea started from the training contest 15 and since everybody's posting their works, here I also go!

Scene 1 - Babylon Dusk

A peaceful city, preparing for the night coming, a broom and a basket filled with leaves, evidence of someone that just finished cleaning all proof of a peaceful utopia blessed with light and good willing people. It realflex peace and tranquility both outer and inner of man, a heartbeat period in a never ending cycle of Yin and Yang.

It goes with this.

Well my first work would of been this:

However this is a later episode, the climax. Since this is half done I won't be making the episodes in order.

As you can see characters will be introduced in the story, it will be focused on a priest.

The second episode will be something like the destruction of Babylon or something along the line, or maybe the characters introduction most likely.

Each episode will be associated with a specific music track.

Not as great as the next one I'm making! I want to get back to it really bad but I have no time at the moment. This will be my first experimental try with bump mapping in a terrain --->

I am also making some monsters but I just don't like the way thy fit in the scene. All I can think about is tentacles, any suggestions?

I want part of the walls to look like this and the creatures to somewhat merge with them

At the beginning this was the lighting, but I'll find a way to make it more atmospheric while at the same this with some visible details. I also need to think hard on the monsters, I want the main character to be as threatened as possible.
